Banpu Infinergy: Another Banpu’s Stepping-Stone to the Asian Energy Company
On 28 August 2017, Banpu Infinergy Company Limited (BPIN), a subsidiary of Banpu Public Company Limited, arranged its official debut on the market as a one-stop provider of total solar energy solutions using advanced technology. In the first phase, BPIN is offering total solar energy solutions in the form of high-quality rooftop solar systems and solar street lights and accessories. Its one-stop services include consultation, system design, installation, inspection and maintenance especially for industrial and private use. Centred on the concept of “Go Green Together”, BPIN encourages organizations to become part of the production and optimization of green energy with zero investment, thus further reducing electricity costs while responding to the government’s policy and the Alternative Energy Development Plan. During the event at The Campus, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, Ms. Somruedee Chaimongkol, Director of BPIN, together with its management team, introduced the new business and services in details to the media and guests. BPIN’s business partners and customers also joined the event to congratulate on its debut, demonstrating their confidence on BPIN’s potential growth.
Banpu Infinergy outlined its roadmap aiming to achieve the 300 MW of solar solutions in Thailand by 2022 to serve future demand in accordance with the Ministry of Energy’s Alternative Energy Development Plan (AEDP 2015). The company is also committed to studying the possibilities for optimizing Energy Management System (EMS) and Energy Storage System (ESS) in production control, energy transfer and energy storage, as well as electric vehicles (EV). The debut of this new business is another key stepping-stone of Banpu to move its Greener & Smarter strategy forward as a leading integrated energy provider in Asia-Pacific region.
